Best Friends Forever, the NBC comedy my friends Lennon and Jess created and my husband wrote on, got pulled by NBC after 4 episodes! Oof, blegh, etc. But what’s cool about it is that people have started a petition to get it back on the air. Sure, it’s a long shot, but I like to believe in underdogs and miracles because WHAT ELSE IS THERE, you guys?!
Entertainment Weekly and the Washington Post have picked up the petition story and the twitter campaign to save the show, and if you’re so inclined, you can add your name to the list. As a thank you in advance for signing the petition, here’s a photo of me when I was 10 years old at the peak of atrocious awkwardness, on my way to my first Bat Mitzvah party. I thought I looked really bangin’ and that night I danced with a boy and wrote my number for him on a napkin. He never called. (And nor did any other guy, for like, seven years. Thank goodness for BFFs!)
