When I start feeling like summer is coming and suddenly the weather is freezing again
Speaking of, it’s going to be 71 today and then after a bunch of storms it’s going to be FORTY NINE DEGREES tomorrow. C’mooonnn!
For a pie class snack I went to the vending machine because, well I’m desperate today. I got popcorn which then got caught. Got another popcorn inn an effort to get the first one…caught. luckily, heavier pretzels were above them and by getting those my other two snacks were dislodged. I was going to be good and only eat one, but since I have two I caved. It really is delicious though!
So today was my third time helping my friend make beer. This batch is heading to Kentucky with my family in June. They better like it!
I’m ready to plant a garden. You know what prevents that? Snow…the cause of the water spots. Come on consistently warm weather!

On an effort to use this space more, I’m going to start posting mundane things to get me on the habit. This is the perfect stage of iced coffee appreciation. I think I add cream and sugar just to watch it settle sometimes.
Fauxsotto (risotto cheat) is my new favorite way to use up veggies that are near their end. Today, asparagus, red chard, lemon, garlic, parm with white rice and quinoa.
Last year I sent out a call to all of my classmates who were going on vacation or studying abroad for post cards to decorate my office space. I got a pretty good haul as you can see above.
This year, I’m thinking of doing an exchange. Would you be interested in trading post cards?? I promise it would be a cool one and I would even write you a lovely note! Any takers?
